TJR says

London producer Ken Gold copies Dutch producer Japp Eggermont's Stars on 45 project, employing studio musicians to mimick big hits as a medley on a disco bed. Giving the work a degree of uniqueness, DJ Emperor Rosko (Radio Caroline, Radio One, Radio Luxembourg) was employed to add a cheezy MC intro. Following a big #4 hit in August with the 45 “Back To The Sixties, part 1”, a full length LP followed in September, reaching #38 in the album charts.
