“The Zombies” by The Zombies - album review

TJR says

In January, 1965, the debut Zombies album was rush-released in America by Parrot Records, anxious to capitalize on the success of “She’s Not There” which was a #2 smash hit stateside in the fall of '64. This was 4 months ahead of the UK equivalent, “Begin Here”. Aside from that fine lead single, a hybrid cover of “You Really Got A Hold On Me / Bring It On Home To Me” (The Miracles, 1962 / Sam Cooke, 1962) demonstrates good taste.
