TJR says

For their sophomore release in April, 1980, the Derry five remain: Feargal Sharkey (lead vocals), John O'Neill (guitar, vocals), Damian O'Neill (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Michael Bradley (bass, vocals) and Billy Doherty (drums). The lyrical teenage themes of kicks, japes and heartbreaks are maintained from the debut, or “More Songs About Chocolate And Girls” as they so humourously put it in the album's typically self-deprecating opening statement. The musical pallette is widened though, occasionally incorporating elements of 60s pop in amongst the new wave and punk tunes. The two singles “My Perfect Cousin” (#9) and “Wednesday Week” (#11) are the big highlights of the set which is decent throughout, even if it does lack edgy thrills. It would become their most commercially successful long-player, ascending to #6 in the UK charts.
