“Live In London 1980” by The Fall - album review

TJR says

The sixth in the Chaos Tape series, breaking the hardcore punk chain of Discharge, Anti-Pasti, Vice Squad, Chron Gen and Chelsea. The set was recorded 11th December 1980 at the Acklam Hall, London and, 14 months later, was released as a limited-edtion cassette run of 4,000 copies in February, 1982. Would be re-released on CD as “The Legendary Chaos Tape”. Don't believe the hype. The Fall were famous for almost permanently sketching out their new songs in the live arena, which was always thrilling in-person, but is completely un-necessary and underwhelming on record.
