TJR says

Arriving in January, this was the first Dave Clark Five album of 1965. Again, no release for Britain. It’s a noticeable step up in quality from the last 2, featuring all new material and led by two singles which hit both sides of the Atlantic – “Any Way You Want It” and “Everybody Knows”. The former was debuted on the “Ed Sullivan Show” and sent America bonkers! It was the band at their trademark best, with a hard driven beat, a swirling organ, just the right amount of sax, a great vocal rasp and all mixed with a cool new echo effect. Some Tottenham aggro – this is what we want! Elsewhere “When” offers something a little different, classy pop writing Shangri-Las style… were Bjorn and Benny listening in? You never know quite what you’re going to get on a Dave Clark Five album – but there’s always something worth tuning in for…
