TJR says

The Byrds attempt to make Country hip on this highly rated but rather sedate affair which bobs along in a manner which is simply far too pleasant to achieve its goal with me. Notably, the album features new member Gram Parsons who contributes the only 2 originals with “Hickory Wind” and “One Hundred Years From Now”.
