“Hanx!” by Stiff Little Fingers - album review
features in: (B-list) Album Chart of 1980 ● (B-list) Album Chart of the 1980s |

As Wikipedia tells, this was originally intended as a pre-tour primer for the American market, but they released it as a budget-priced album in the UK, mindful of the fact that they didn't want their fans to feel compelled to import and be fleeced. Good lads, see? Almost all was recorded live on July 25th, 1980 at Friars, Aylesbury, excepting the magnificent Marley cover “Johnny Was” which was recorded 5 days earlier at the Rainbow, London.
