“Coming In Hot” hot-hot is a musical shot-shot-shot to start things off in fine style, but my good mood is soon spoiled on the duet with Gwen Guthrie, “Nothing But Love”, a slab of pop drivel which comes complete with the slick horns of American session men. I get the horrible feeling this is strictly business. Thankfully, the bounce back is immediate on the spongy “Reggaemylitis” as Peter assures us that the reggae is still very much in his bones and in his blood. The fine title-track was featured in the movie “Pineapple Express”, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. He was fairly getting around with this big management thing. He wouldn't have known it at the time of recording, but his old friend Bob Marley would be dead by the time “Wanted Dread And Alive” saw release in the summer of 1981. How we'll miss him.
