“Pissed And Proud” by Peter and The Test Tube Babies - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1982 → ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1980s → |

Debut album from the Peacehaven wild kids, unusually recorded live over the course of the bank holiday weekend in August 1982 in Hammersmith, Wood Green, and Brighton. They line-up: Peter Bywaters (vocals); Derek 'Strangefish' Greening (guitar); Chris 'Trapper' Marchant (bass) and Mark 'Ogs' Hoggins (drums). Propelled by a Peel session, and the popular “Banned From The Pub” single (a studio recording), their live gigs were packed out at this time. All of this momentum was enough to carry this LP to #1 in the Indie charts. They really did all get banned from various pubs you know, so there can no doubting their credibility.
