“Hard ’n’ Heavy (with Marshmallow)” by Paul Revere and The Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1969 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1960s |
There was a new band line-up for their first release of 1969, with only Paul Revere and Mark Lindsay surviving as founder members. There were three new recruits: Keith Allison (bass), Freddy Weller (guitar) and Joe Correro (drums). The trio provided the hard and heavy whilst the founders maintained a touch of the marshmallow. Like the Bee Gees, they're chameleons and have never really known what they're all about it.
