TJR says

Florian Schneider-Esleben and Ralf Hütter were both 22-years-old when they released their first LP into the world in the summer of '69, produced by Conny Plank. They were: Basil Hammoudi (glockenspiel, conga gong, musical box, bongos, percussion, vocals), Butch Hauf (bass, shaky tube, small bells, plastic hammer, percussion), Ralf Hütter (Hammond organ, organ), Fred Mönicks (drums, bongos, maracas, cowbell, tambourine) and Florian Schneider-Esleben (electric flute, alto flute, bell, triangle, tambourine, electro-violin, percussion). It's a real avant-garde affair and sounds like nothing else in my albums of 1969, almost ritualistic in parts. It's often airy and organic, although some menacing organ breaks up the vibe here and there. Slightly interesting, but far from great in the final analysis.
