“I Put A Spell On You” by Nina Simone - album review

features in: Album Chart of 1965Album Chart of the Decade: 1960s

TJR says

A pop concession of sorts for Nina, dominated by two exceptional cuts. Side one opens with a fantastic cover of “I Put A Spell On You” (Screamin' Jay Hawkins, 1956) and side two does likewise with the exceptional “Feeling Good” (Gilbert Price, 1965).
