“Mott” by Mott The Hoople - album review
features in: Album Chart of 1973 ● Album Chart of the Decade: 1970s ● 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die |
Sixth album from the Hertfordhsire glam-rockers, one of the best of the dubious genre, even if they do ham it up a bit too much here and there. The core quartet line-up: Ian Hunter (lead vocals, piano, acoustic guitar), Mick Ralphs (lead guitar, backing vocals, organ), Pete Watts (bass guitar) and Dale Griffin (drums, backing vocals).
