“Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind)” had recently given Loretta her first Country #1 and this LP arrived in February '67, basking in the glory. It was the only single released from the album. It's widely celebrated as one of her signature tunes although, personally, I can't be doing with it. I think it's those oh so Ovaltiney backing singers, yuck. Much superior was the good-girl-gone-bad b-side, “Saint To A Sinner”, which closes side one. Best of the lot is the mournful song of isolation, “I'm Living In Two Worlds”, where she's unhappy in one, lonesome in another. The way I see it, that's the real-deal country right there.
