“Sweet Baby James” by James Taylor - album review

The second LP from the musically matured 21-year-old, if he's boring me with Americana motifs favoured by the Band, Crosby, Stills and all that lot he's doing likewise with the earnest and drippy songwriter routine a la Don McLean. I guess my subjective Jukebox picks are predictable - he's best channeling the blues (“Steamroller Blues” and “Oh Baby, Don’t You Loose Your Lip On Me”) or the folk (“Oh! Susanna”).
