TJR says

Thought to be retired since mid-71, the 57-year-old crooner returned in the fall of '73 reinvigorated, and the absence had created a demand which resulted in a commercial success. It's nice to see him pick Kris Kristofferson's “Nobody Wins”, my choice cut, but it's only one song in a tide of tedium. Fans were delighted when the positivity surrounding “Ol' Blue Eyes Is Back” resulted in a massive comeback tour of the United States, Europe, the Far East and Australia.
