1968 was a very busy year for The Animals, “Every One Of Us” was the second of three albums to be released in the year, and the first to feature the keyboards and organs of new member Zoot Money, who had joined in April from psychedelic rockers Dantalian’s Chariot, a band of whom Burdon was a big fan. This sound was much heavier than anything that appeared before, and Hendrixification had clearly taken root within the group.
