TJR says

An album of traditional dancing music for the Afrikaner, known as 'Boeremusiek'. Die Vier Transvalers (The Four Transvalers) were regarded as one of the finest purveyors of the genre. They were: Faan Harris (leader and concertina player), Bossie Bosman (cello), Frans Ebersohn (guitar) and Sewes van Rensburg (guitar). They only had a few recording sessions, and only sessions from the 3rd and 10th October 1932 survived and made it to record. This LP compiles 10 sides from various 10" 78s originally released on HMV around that time.
