Bendy bass alert! The 28th album from the 19-year-old group gave them their greatest commercial success, propelled by the famous title-track sung by Randy Crawford, an edited version of which gave them a Top 40 hit in the US and reached Top 10 in the UK. The Jazz-Funk combo are renowned for working with a large revolving cast of players and reveling in complex arrangements, but three original members remain at the core from 1960; Joe Sample (piano), Stix Hooper (drums) and Wilton Felder (saxophone, bass guitar). Super-skillful, highly-smooth and amazingly-boring.
