Over US$30,000 in debt, manager Skip Taylor advised the band to sign away their future royalties to their previous Liberty/United Artists material and jump to Atlantic Records. The band duly negotiated as per instructions. This album featured horn arrangements played by the Muscle Shoal Horns along with Barry Beckett and Roger Hawkins. It’s technically good, and comes with a bright outlook, but when Bob sings “Just a redneck hick with a guitar and a pick” on “Bagful Of Boogie” I think to myself… “Cheers for doing the album review summary Bob”…
