“Sagar (The Ocean)” is, for me, the highlight track from the 27-year-old's acclaimed debut set. The piece builds slowly, but eventually works its magical charms, ending in a blaze of glory in the final 4 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend the album – his western cover versions are a bit gimmicky – but both this cut and “Dance Indra” are worth the cherry-picking.
